At the upcoming meeting we will have our traditional round table discussion of the June 8th Primary, complete with printed election results. We will also be discussing some items held over due to the endorsement process, including the CDP convention reports. Additionally, we will be discussing issue of meeting venues and any options available to the club. So bring any and all ideas!

Congratulations to our 1st Vice-President Mark Bowen in winning his re-election bid to the Long Beach Community College Board Of Trustees (he's the president of the Board) click for results
At the last meeting the club continued the endorsement process. The offices we considered were the United States Senate seat (Barbara Boxer), Congressional District #46. We also heard from candidates for the offices of Los Angeles County Tax Assessor, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judges (Seat #28, #107, and #117)and took positions on statewide propositions 13 through 17 and L.A.U.S.D.
